I have to file for I-485 along with EAD and AP, I live in Phoenix and I am applying for 485 based on an approved I-140 based on NIW. Please let me know if I have to file in the Phoenix lockbox or send it to Nebraska.

Hello,
Please let me know if anybody is travelling from BLR(Bangalore) to BOS (Boston) by British Airways on Mar 1 2011.
Because my mother-in-law is visiting US and she is travelling alone. If some travel companion is there it will be helpful as she does't speak english.

Current status L1A, exp 9/5/08 (family on L2)
Pending: I-140 EB1C, RD 3/5/07, still no news from Nebraska
Fact: My family members MUST travel to Europe this summer.
Fact: My extension I-129 for a renewed L1A must be submitted to USCIS no later than 6 weeks before 9/5/08.
Fact: I have L1A visa stamp and family have L2 visa stamps with expiration date 9/5/08 in our passports
Question:
How late is the latest my family members can enter US without encountering trouble at the border?
They need to be present in the US to submit the I-539 (extension of stay), but can it be submitted AFTER my I-129 or MUST they be submitted at the same time as an absolute rule?
Please advise.

Is the process still the same -
The I-94 gets submitted before they leave US.
New I-94 while entering.
The new I-94 would have the same date of departure as was in the previous I -94 ?

what type of cases, you meant ?
I can't help but notice that about 1/4 of recently processed audit cases were denied. As it goes now, I'll have to wait about another 6 month for a 75% chance to pass. Well for where the economy is headed right now it all probably won't matter anymore in 6 months.

Approximately how many labor applications were filed each day for EB3-India. ?
Assuming around 5-10 each day and around 300 days in a year . it would
be around 3000 . Considering that there was minor downturn in 2001-2002
year i'm assuming that Cut-Off dates should be moving faster for EB3-I.
Note: I'm in EB3 India category and trying to make a calculated guess.

H1b from non-cap to cap cannot be transfered. In order for you to work in private companies, you need to get new H1b by filing in on april 1 st 2009 which will ahve start date of oct 2009. Untill then you are stuck ..!!!
However you can transfer your present H1b to another non-profit h1b. I know the rules sucks..I ahve been in your place and got H1b this time. Can't wait to to get freedom on oct 1st.

I had a quick Q:
a.) DO you need latest paystubs for filing for 485.
Suppose, i am working for company A and company B has filed for my GC, then how can this be provided.
b.) Even if i am working for company A, do i still need pay stubs or will a letter stating that "this job is available for the immigrant" suffice.

Guys, applied recently for EAD and its pending and 180 days has not passed. I am planning to open a part time business. Does anyone know if its ok to start a part time business before the EAD gets approved ? Any insights will be appreciated.

Is it possible for a resident of Pune to apply for a tourist visa at the Hyderabad consulate? The Mumbai consulate doesn't seem to have any openings online, so not sure how to make an appt with the Mumbai consulate..
